Where You Should Locate Snake Plants, According to Feng Shui

Snake plants have the power to protect a home while attracting good luck, money, and positive energy. If you do not place them in the right location, however, the plants will not be able to work their magic.

According to Feng Shui, the best location for snake plants is at the entrance of a house, to protect it from bad energy, improve the environment generally, and attract wealth. The plants will help to cleanse any bad energy that you bring home with you from people or places outside your house.

How to Care for Snake Plants

  • Snake plants require good drainage in order to avoid root rot.
  • A few hours of light each day will help the plants grow new stems.
  • Snake plants require little water. In fact, watering them once or twice a month is typically sufficient. Wait until the soil is completely dry before watering. If the soil is constantly moist, your plant will suffer from rot—yellow leaves are a common sign of rot.

Now that you are armed with the knowledge about where—and where not—to locate your snake plants as well as some basic rules about how to care for them, there’s no reason not to add these plants to your home. They will then take over with the work of attracting good energy and prosperity into your life.
